Neil David Morrison, 85, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Laurels of Hendersonville.

Mr. Morrison was born in Auburn, Maine to the late George and Pauline Morrison. He was also preceded in death by a brother Donald Joseph Morrison.

Neil was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of Biltmore Church of God and the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Ridner Morrison; three children, Connie Boulden, David Collins and Donna Fender; one brother, George Morrison; eight grandchildren, Heather Graves, Kim Wise, Tina Cole, Amy Proffit, Jake Boulden, McKenzie Peeler, Serena Graham and Mickey Scott Fender; twelve great grandchildren, Caya Proffit, Caleb Proffit, Lilianna Boulden, Collin Peeler, Maddy Peeler, Makenna Wise, Hadleigh Wise, Asher Wise, Kennedy Cole, Reagan Cole, Sarah Ramsey, Dylan J. Graham and four great great grandchildren, Bennie Graham, Fender Graham, Emily Graves and Briggs Graves.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Biltmore Church of God in Asheville. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

A private burial will be held at the WNC State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain
