Nellie Sue Redmon, 67, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021. She was a native of Buncombe Co.
Ms. Redmon was the daughter of the late Frank and Hirmie Sue Ingle King. She was also preceded in death by her son, Frank Redmon Jr.
Nellie is survived by her son, Darrell Redmon (Patricia); significant other, Jason Parks; ex-daughter-in-law, Amanda Redmon; grandchildren, Tyson, Emily, Josh, and Brittany, and 4 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Monday July 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Susie was such a special cousin who was always there for anyone who needed her if she was able to be there. Although I didn’t get to see her often, when I did she was always the same and in a good mood. When my sister Diane was so sick she would call or come by for a visit. They were very close. Susie will be a loss to us but Heaven’s gain. Our prayers are with her son, family and Jason. May God bless all of you.🙏🙏🙏
