Nyles H. Trexler

October 12, 1914 ~ September 17, 1998

Graveside services for Mrs. Trexler will be at 2:00 pm Sunday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. J. Derrill Smith officiating.

Mrs. Trexler was born in Buncombe COunty and was a daughter of the late Douglas and Ina Sawyer Holder. She formerly worked at Enka and retired after 25 years with Ideal Drug Store.

She is survived by her husband, Harold E. Trexler; a daughter, Wanda T. Brookshire; a son, Howard E. Trexler; three sisters, Allie Lawing, Vennie Russell, and Lyla Vess; a brother, Porter O. Holder; 3 grandchildren, Brenda A. Fryar, Charles H. Trexler, and David D. Trexler; 4 great-grandchildren, Melissa D. Fryar, Christy M. Fryar, Chloe Trexler, and Katie Trexler; a great-great-grandchild, Ian D. Fryar; and a friend, Finley Foster.
