Paul M. Johnson, 78, of 62 Hollybrook Drive,
Asheville, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998 at his
residence.
He was a native of New York, a son of the late
Augustine and Louise Javelle Johanson.
He is survived by his wife, Claire Berry
Johnson; daughter, Andrea Smart of Miami, Fla.;
son, Paul T. Johnson of Marietta, GA and five
grandchildren including Jennifer Johnson.
A service will be at 6 pm Monday in the chapel
of Groce Funeral Home conducted by the Rev.
Donald N. Welborn officiating. Interment will be
11 Tuesday in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends following the
service Monday evening until 8 pm.
Memorials may be made to the Heart Assn., 50
S. French Broad Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801.
