  5. In 1980 I was welcomed into the Rice family by two of the most wonderful people in the world. I felt so lucky to have such wonderful in-laws. You became a 2nd set of parents to me. I cherish the times the three of us spent together and miss you both. I’ve always appreciated that even after I wasn’t a part of your family anymore you both still treated me like I was. As much as I love and miss my 2nd parents I’m happy for both of you that the suffering and pain is over and you are with the Lord now. Thanks for all the love and support you gave me.

  6. My pappaw you always had a smile on your face when I was a child that’s what I will always remember. I remember I always called you pappaw banjo and you always called me kringle. I love you pappaw banjo but I know your with mammaw and finally happy..
