Paul Robinson, 80, of 21 Spring Drive, Asheville, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at his residence.
A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late John and Hazzie Woody Robinson and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lonas, Woodrow and Delbert Robinson. He was retired after 27 years of service from Three Mountaineers.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Robinson and wife Elizabeth and Terry Robinson and wife Tisha, all of Asheville; two grandchildren, Ericka Robinson of South Carolina and Lucas Paul Robinson of Asheville.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Johnny Tiller officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
One of the nicest men the world has ever known. We look forward to seeing him in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with ya’ll. God Bless!
