Paul Washington Presley, 84, of Arden, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 20, 2015.
A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Anthony "Hutch" Littleton Presley and Eleanor Mallory Presley. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Rick and Mike Presley; five brothers, Roy, Harry, John, Charles and Ralph Presley; one sister, Margaret Presley James and one granddaughter, April White.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Allene Ingle Presley; two daughters, Joyce White and Donna Lance and her husband, Cliff, as well as six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Paul proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force for 4 years, stationed mostly in England. He retired from Ball Brothers after 35 years of service. He loved Southern Gospel music and sang bass in various groups throughout his life.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian and will be officiated by Reverend Stacey Harris. Interment will follow at Calvary Churchyard. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.

My Condolence to my Presley cousins !! I am Ethel’s oldest son Billy Corn and Paul was my Mentor and I joined the U S Air Force due to his influence and spent 22 1/2 yrs !!
