Pauline Bartlett Bell Clodfelter, 94, formerly of Asheville, died Friday, October 28, 2011, in Franklin, NC.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Lillian Leola Shroat Bartlett. Mrs. Clodfelter was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charles I. Bell, in 1972; second husband, James H. Clodfelter, in 2005; two sons, Charles R. Bell and Daniel H. Bell; siblings, Kenneth Bartlett, Robert Bartlett and Myrtle Bryan. She was a resident of St. Augustine, FL for forty years where she served as Director of the St. Augustine Art Association.
Mrs. Clodfelter is survived by a daughter, Linda Johnson and her husband, James, of Franklin; seven grand-children and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon E. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service and request that memorials be made to CarePartners Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.

Linda & Jimmy – Pauline was a very classy lady and we will always love her very much. We will be forever greatful to our Lord for granting us the privilege of knowing her. She will be missed by anyone who knows her. Our prayers for you and if we can do anything, please let us know.
