Pauline was one of my best and dearest friends. We had many good times together, traveling and shopping. She will be greatly missed. To know her was to love her.
I had the pleasure of meeting Pauline when I first started at Eastern in June. ’66. Pauline was always a joy to be around and lots of fun; we had many laughs on breaks. Pauline will certainly be missed but she is now at peace and no pain. My deepest sympathy to ED and Mrs. Hester. Sincerely, Harry

Pauline and Jean shared many great times and fond memories over the last forty some odd years. Working together at EAL and sharing a lot of wonderful travel together through the years. Pauline was a very generous person and fun loving. Her marraige to her devoted husband Ed was so happy and I’m sure that he will miss her greatly. My prayer is that God will let him remember the wonderful years they had together and he will be able to go forward day by day and remember the good times.
God bless you Ed.

We have lost the kindest, most generous and caring person I have ever known. I first met Pauline in the Eastern Reservations office in Nashville back in the 50’s, then we were co-workers for a time and good friends in the old ATL reservations office on West Peachtree. We shared many fun times over the years and, like most females, a few secrets, too. She waited a long time to marry and that is because she hadn’t met Ed yet. He was definitely the one she had been waiting for. Tom and I also shared many happy times with them before their move to North Carolina, then we sort of lost close contact. However, I am so very thankful that the four of us spent a day together last summer after Pauline’s surgery. The pictures we made that day are now treasures. Ed, you have been everything to her during her long illness. You cared for her yourself 24/7 during her final weeks so she could remain at home with you. I know this was not easy but you knew this is what she wanted and so you wanted it, too. Ed, thank you. Now I close my eyes and see her beautiful smile. My heart is heavy.
In loving memory,
Margaret & Tom Whitehead

You are a dear friend and my hero.
I thank God that I got to know you and spend two wonderful years with you. I feel like I have known you my entire life.
I love you. You will be greatly missed.

Pauline was the kindest, gentlest lady. When I first met her at Eal, (in ’66 I think) we hit it off right away. To know Pauline was to love her.
