Pauline Trammel Suttles
December 28, 1922 ~ June 21, 1999

A native of Madison County she was a daughter of the late
Thenward William and Hattie Lee Wright Trammel. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence
C. Suttles who died in 1994. Mrs. Suttles was a retired employee of Woolworth’s and in her earlier years she was an Officer with the Salvation Army. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter,
Ardell Allen and a son Stuart Suttles both of Asheville; a sister Ostella T. Suttles of Black Mountain; two brothers Everette Trammel of Enka
and David Trammel of Asheville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Ronnie Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends
7-8:30 Tuesday at the funeral home, and at other times will be at 327.5 Hi-Alta Avenue. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Western NC Chapter, 3 Louisiana Ave., Asheville, NC 28806.
