PEARL ADA GASPERSON
Arden ~ Pearl Ada Gasperson, 87, of Arden, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at her residence.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ollie Fox Banks. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Gasperson; a son, Herschel Gasperson; three sisters, Annie Lee Gasperson, Lillian Jones and Lona Boone and one brother, Clyde M. Banks.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Fisher and her husband, Jackie, of Arden; a sister, Bessie Mae Pinner of Arden; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Tina, Samra, Elizabeth, Becky, Paul Joseph and Leighann and several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Avery's Creek Christian Church Cemetery with Reverend Cecil Robinson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, July 23, 2010 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
