Peggy Fisher Robinson, 84, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at her residence.
A native of Asheville, Mrs. Robinson was a daughter of the late James Homer and Zelma Edmonds Fisher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Charles Robinson; and sons, JL Robinson, Randy Robinson and Gary Robinson.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her daughter, Patricia Worley (Dewey); son, Dale Robinson; daughter-in-law, Nancy Robinson; grandchildren, Selena Young (Danny), Justin Robinson (Christina), Mark Huggins, Jessica Huggins, Kimberly Huggins, and Whitney Robinson; great-grandchildren, Samantha Young, Elizabeth Young and Hudson Robinson; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Portwood.
A memorial service for Mrs. Robinson will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Rev. Roy Houston officiating.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.

Peggy was my mother-in-law for nine years. i can still picture the sunday dinners she would prepare for that big family of hers. i remember watching her make biscuits on the counter top. she was always a very gracious lady. Heaven gained a really good one this time. love you Peggy

The world has lost one of the truly good souls I have ever known. Aunt Peggy was an inspiration for me my entire life. She maintained a positive spirit throughout her life despite the many trials she endured. I know she is in heaven and reunited with her loved ones. All who knew her will miss her. Many of us newer to and currently on staff at Lake Hills Church did not know Peggy personally, but knew family members and have also heard so many precious comments from those who knew her well as a charter member here before she came ill. We send our heartfelt prayers to the family and are praising the Lord with them for Peggy, now rejoicing in heaven with her Savior. God’s comfort and prayers to you.

I was very saddened to hear of the loss of my Aunt Peggy. My condolences to the family. When I was a child I lived with Peggy for one year at the old home place. She opened her home and heart to me. Despite her illness and tragedies in her life she never lost her faith. She was a great lady. I will miss her.
Our entire family was so saddened and sorry to hear of the passing of Peggy Robinson, our wonderful \Muz\’. She was such a precious Christian Lady. She kept many a baby and child in her home with such care and compassion. All three of our children had the chance to be taken care of by \’Muz\’ in their early years constant friendship and loving positive attitude. She was always giving and caring for others a true Christian example for everyone. She will be greatly missed! It makes us sad to hear of Peggy’s passing. Our loss is truly Heaven’s gain. She was a special friend to my Mother and they sat beside each other for years in Sunday School. She always had a smile for everyone. Drew stayed with Muz for a a while when he was a baby and toddler. Everyone loved Muz! Roy and Joyce
