Peyton Raymond Suggs, who was born July 22, 2009, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 14, 2009.
He was the son of Cassandra Davis and Clayton Raymond Suggs, IV.
In addition to his parents, Peyton is survived by his grandparents, Diana English of Leicester, Phillip Davis of Candler and Ray and Angie Suggs of Arden; great-grandparents, Raymond and Virginia Suggs of Arden, Donna and Bob Myers of Mountain Home, Fannie Davis of Asheville; special great-aunt and uncle, Ellen and Carson Davis; two special uncles, Bobby Davis and Jeremy King; two special aunts, Suzanne King and Tamera Davis, all of Candler as well as several other loving family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Family of Faith Fellowship, 213 Long Shoals Rd. in Arden with Pastor James King officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
Interment will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park.

Peyton was a very vibrent and beautiful baby boy that know one will ever forget. He was more then just a nephew to us we love him like he is our own. It’s hard to think about how life will go on but just remember that you two had the most important part of his life you were his mommy and daddy and no one could ever take that away from you. One things for sure is that we will always remind Colten that he has the best baby cousin ever watching out for him in heaven.

You don’t know me but I just wanted to offer my condolences to you and your family. I am a ‘nana’ to two beautiful babies ages 9 months & 1 year. There are no words that will help ease the pain you are going through but look to heaven and God’s guidance to help you through the coming days and the rest of your life. You dont know me, and I never had the pleasure of meeting your beautiful baby boy, but I noticed his gravesite last week when I was taking flowers to my sweet baby girl. Your sons gravesite is close to my daughters (Avery Nicole King) I noticed that you guys a put up a Christmas tree similar to the one I put up for Avery. I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss, the pain never goes away, but in time you will be able to deal with it, and go on. It is a very difficult road, but if you trust in God, he will be with you on this road. Again, i am very sorry for your loss, and sorry that you understand this pain of loosing your baby. I will keep you in my prayers and put a flower on baby Peytons grave whenever I visit my Avery. God Bless you and keep you.
