  1. Shirley and David,
The whole Stevens Family is saddened by the loss of Philip. We are thinking about you, love and prayers to you both.
    Bob and Darlene Stevens

  2. Joy, please know that you and your family have been and will continue to be in our prayers.

  3. Ms. Shirley and Phillip’s family, we were truly blessed with a true Christian, great husband, fantastic dad and a friend and neighbor to all! Thank you for sharing him to those that he became part of their lives. He will truly be missed! Thoughts and prayers with all of you, but we will see him again! Praise the Lord!!

  4. Phil was a good friend, and mentor where I met him on my job at the Employment Security Commission. He was very patient with my questions as a new employee. He was kind and thoughtful to everyone. He loved his wife Shirley and son David very much. It showed in the way he spoke of them often. He was very proud of them.
Anyone that knew Phil, thought well of him. He had a smile, and listening ear for all of his customers. He will be missed. I will continue to pray for peace and comfort for his family. Rest in peace dear friend.

  5. I worked with Phil for eight years in Asheville until I transferred to Hendersonville. He was very kind to me, the newbie. During one of my first winters there, it snowed while we were at work. I was afraid to drive my Chevy Malibu in the snow, and Phil immediately offered to take me home. He delivered me safely! When I last saw him, David, he was telling me all about you. He was so proud. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Shirley and David.
