Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My most sincere sympathy to Max, Shelly, and all of Portia’s family on her passing. I first met Max through Berkeley Senior Services and spent a lot of time with him, tweaking his computer and helping with various tasks. Portia was always a most gracious host, assuring I was comfortable, hydrated, and feeling welcomed. She was a fine lady and a lovely person in every sense of the word. May she rest in the eternal embrace of the Peace of Christ!

  2. Worked with Portia at Dr. Hutzlers and it was my honor to work with and know her. She was a beautiful caring person both inside and out. She and Max were both special people. Prayers to her family.

  3. I was so saddened to hear about Portia. She was such a beautiful and nice lady. My heart goes out to her husband, Max, her sister, Anise, and all the rest of her family.

  4. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of “Aunt Portia”. (I called her that when Pam (Grubb) and I would be around her. Aunt Doris and I shared some memories last night. I’m glad that she got to spend her last part of life with her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I hope that the closeness of your family and the memories you share can soon bring you comfort.

  5. So sorry to read about your Mom. Caring person, wonderful neighbor and friend. Such a patient person! Please give Max my best. I know he will miss her.
