Services for Rachel Livengood Israel will be held at 11 am Monday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Wyatt Gentry and Timothy Livengood officiating.  Burial will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Israel is survived by her mother, Rachel Stephenson Livengood of Asheville; her husband of 14 years, Jeffrey Kim Israel and her daughter, Crystal Annette Livengood of Leicester.
She is also survived by three sisters, Janice Slagle, Sandra McHone and Marion Israel; seven brothers, Ben, David, Charles, Frederick, Michael, Roger and Timothy Livengood.

The family asks that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Assn.

  4. Mama I love you I miss you. Ethel is with you now. I wish you were both here. I need you more everyday. Your grandson is the most perfect in the whole wide world. Daddy is happy too. I just wish you were here! I would definitely need you now but you taught me well. If I could only be half the woman you were. I love you & really really miss you bad. We would have been the bestest of friends. You would have told me exactly what you thought I would have listened learned and still made my own choices. You would have been ok with what was right. I miss you.
