Reginald W. Barnes, Jr.

Honea Path, SC ~ Reginald Wimberly Barnes, Jr. 68, of Blue Willow Circle, Honea Path, SC, died, Sunday, September 5, 2004, at Elizabeth House Hospice in Hendersonville. Mr. Barnes was the son of the late Reginald W. Barnes, Sr. and Estelle Wheeler Barnes. He was a dispatcher with Roadway Trucking and was an avid hunter and fisherman and was also fond of cooking. He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Gibbs and husband Jeff of Mills River; son, Craig Barnes and wife Betsy of Arden; two grandchildren, Jared Gibbs and Haley Barnes; longtime friend, Karyl Holland of Honeapath, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, at the home of the son, Craig Barnes, 1 Mallory Meadow Court, Arden, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elizabeth House Hospice, 581 South Allen Road., Flat Rock, NC 28731.
