Guestbook

  1. Carl will be missed by so many of us. He was a good, kind, intelligent, and friendly man, for whom Sam and I had great respect and affection. His and Carolyn’s marriage of 62 years provided a model for enduring relationships. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Carolyn.

  2. Pat & Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Carl will be missed and was such a kind and gentle person. I know the Spivey’s will also have a very empty place in their hearts too as he was so loved and cherished by them, just as you are.

I pray that God will comfort you and the family in this time of loss. He has provided the Holy Spirit, your comforter as a balm for your heart. In your grief lift up the promise of our Savior Jesus Christ’s soon return to call forth all those who knew Him as their Savior & Lord who are resting in the grave to meet Him in the air and then those believers who are still alive will be called up to meet them in the air and all go to Heaven. What a glorious promise!

May God fill your mind with loving happy memories of Carl during your times of loneliness. I pray your close friends and family will gather around you and offer you the support as we are instructed in the BIble to offer the widows. May you seek God’s guidance as to how best to fill your time and what plans he has in the remainder of your life.

You will be in our prayers.

  3. Carolyn – I first met you when you were the secretary at UNCA and I was working for Sam Millar in the Maintenance department in the 1970’s. I would see you and Mr. Frady out ‘eating’ and it was a joy to say hello and re-connect. I am so, so sorry that you have lost your soul mate. But he is with our special JESUS – and there will be no more suffering. You take care – and know that I always thought you were such a kind and special lady. Prays go out to you:
