Services for Reva Brookshire Murray will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue conducted by the Reverend Tim Lolley. Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Murray was a native of Buncombe County, the daughter of the late Robert Nelson and Maggie Smith Brookshire. She was the wife of the late George Finley Murray, who died in 1966 and was also preceded in death by a sister, Christine Brookshire. She was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church.

Mrs. Murray is survived by a daughter, Eleanor Murray of Leicester; sisters, Clara Doll of Temple Hills Maryland, June Brookshire and Maxine Brookshire of Leicester and her brother, Bron Brookshire of Leicester.

Pallbearers for the service will be Gerald Murray, Samuel Murray, Vernon Loyd, Fred Roberts, Robert Murray, Donald Summey, Leonard Shuford and Roger Robinson.
