Rheba Stringer Boyd

Arden – Rheba S. Boyd, died Monday, January 10, 2011. A native of Sicily Island, Louisiana, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Norma Keenan Stringer. Rheba was a member of Fletcher First Baptist Church and a retired nurse with the Veterans Administration Medical Center, working in Minneapolis and retiring in Asheville. Rheba is survived by a daughter, Taline Bailey and her husband, Clyde Cody Bailey, III, of Colfax, Louisiana; a grandson, Matthew Blair; a sister, Joel Stringer Paulk of Arden and a number of nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Reverend Roy Waldroup. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 10 until 11 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Churchyard in Fletcher.
