Richard Anthony Tocco

Richard Anthony Tocco, 65, of Asheville, died Monday, January 4, 2016, at Mission Hospital. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Anthony and Theresa Jansen Tocco. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Tocco. Mr. Tocco is survived by his step-daughters, Donna Moody of Asheville, and Pamela Mattia and husband Tony of NY; and grandchildren AJ and Nicholas Mattia, Tori Meder, and Stacey Strachan. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at Mountain View Memorial Park. The family wishes to express special thanks to Lissa McGlamery, Shirley Wright, and to the staff of Emerald Ridge and Mission Hospital. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
