Richard Neil King

Richard Neil 'Ricky' King, 38 of
Lot #1, Westview Acres, Leicester,
died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe
County, he was the son of Green
and Gelene King of Leicester.  He
had previously attended Jones
Valley Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is
survived by his wife, JoAnn King of
Weaverville; two step-daughters,
Samantha Hensley of Asheville,
Jamie Gregg of Weaverville; three
sisters, Linda Owenby of Asheville,
Sharon Rogers and Wanda Stines
of Arden; a brother, Larry King of
Asheville, and his maternal
grandmother, Frances Mitchell of
Asheville.

Services will be 11 am
Wednesday in the chapel of Groce
Funeral Home conducted by the
Rev. Bill Gillespie.  Burial will follow
in Green Hills Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gary Jones,
Gary Sutphin, Jackie Praytor, Jerry
Gibbs, Chris Rogers, Barry King,
Gilbert Stines and Larry King.

The family will receive friends for
one hour prior to the service at the
funeral home.
