Ricky Lane Mason, 58, of Franklin, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 in Asheville.
A lifelong resident of Franklin, NC, Ricky was a son of George Mason and Margaret Roper Mason. He was preceded in death by siblings Virginia McCall, Douglas Mason and Tony Mason.
Ricky was the owner of his own carpentry company. He will always be remembered as a loving Daddy, Brother, Uncle and Pawpaw.
He is survived by his daughter, Casey Mason Cheremka (her husband Nate); two grandchildren, Cieara and Jenson; four sisters, Loenella McCall, Maryann McCall, Sharon Mason and Lela Mason; one brother, Donald Mason and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date and Groce Funeral Home’s Lake Julian team is assisting the family.
Your wings were ready but our hearts were not, you were loved dearly and will be missed always, rest easy, you’re soaring with the eagles now.
