Robbie Hollifield Harvey, 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2022.

A native of Buncombe Co., Robbie was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Gladys Pike Hollifield. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Eva Louise Hollifield, and brother, Marvin Lee Hollifield.

Mrs. Harvey is survived by her husband, Robert S. Harvey; daughter, Karen Evans (Patrick); son, Robert A. Harvey; six grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The graveside service will be held on the following day at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Ben Lippen Rd.

Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 4600 Park Road, Ste. 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.

I didn’t know about her passing at the time, and since then its been on my mind. i lost touch with my high friends Karen and Bob and I want to send my heartfelt condolences to them and the family.
