ASHEVILLE - Robert Doug Wagner, 46 of 58 Sardis Road, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999 at a local hospital.
A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, he was the son of Phyllis Griffin Wagner of Arden, and the late Charles A. Wagner.
He was a member of the First Moravian Church of Greensboro, and was a US Navy veteran.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Diane Limeberry Wagner; one step-daughter, Heidi Plummer of Los Angeles, California; a sister Julie Wagner Neal of Arden.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 24th at 2 P.M. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Ronald Towe officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
