Robert H. Robinson

Robert H. Robinson departed his life on earth to move on to a better place on March 4th, 2014. He was born May 21st, 1932 in Asheville, North Carolina where he lived his entire life. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a dedicated employee of Champion Paper Mill for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Susie G. Robinson and his father. He leaves behind his beloved sister, Betty Lunn, two nephews, Steve Lunn and Jim Lunn (Deb) as well as great nephew Corey Lunn and great-great nephew Jaxson Lunn. He also leaves behind an aunt, Helen Smathers, two cousins Barbara Billings and Diana Hirsch, and many more relatives and good friends. For those of us who love him, he will be sincerely missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. His family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
