Ronnie Robert Mashburn, 73, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Mission Hospital.
A native of Buncombe Co., Ronnie was a son of the late Oscar and Mamie Conner Mashburn.
Mr. Mashburn was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam.
Surviving are his wife, Yvonne Conner Mashburn; daughter, Rhonda Mashburn; son, Scott Mashburn (Heather); sons adopted by love, Ken Conner (Kay), Keith Conner (Gale), Kevin Conner (Vickie), and Kendall Conner; grandchildren, Michael, Summer, Zachary, Zebulen, Chloe, Brody, Kenny, and Andela; sister, Rose and Ruby; and brothers, Bud (Donna), Ken (Glenda), Gary (Debbie), and Mike (Kathy).
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 1 in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery in Black Mountain.
