Rosemary Marazio Condeelis

Rosemary Marazio Condeelis, 91, of Hickory, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, November 30, 2015. A native Scranton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Guiseppi and Mary Mele Marazio. She was also preceded in death by her husband of sixty-eight years, George T. Condeelis, sister Mary Mashe, and brothers Pasquale Marazio and Carlo Marazio. Mrs. Condeelis worked for the Pan Am Travel Department, was a nurse's aide for a State Hospital, and was the co-owner/operator with her husband of Carl's TV. She was a devoted wife and mother, and her first priority was her family. She will be remembered as a lovingly perfect and angelic spouse, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are daughters Rosemary Penland and Dianne Davenport (Kelly); sons George Condeelis and Joseph Condeelis (Yen); grandchildren Brooke, Brent, Matthew, Christina, Amy, Sara, Rebecca, JoAnn, and Alexander; several great-grandchildren; and sister Julia Agnone (Tony). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated the Very Rev. Fr. Wilbur N. Thomas, V.F. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. at the Basilica of St. Lawrence. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
