RUTH MAE LUTHER Ruth Mae Luther, 79, of 29 Benson Road, Asheville, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at the Hospice Solace Center. Mrs. Luther was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Orval and Ethel Carter Seay. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Charles Luther, a daughter, Daisy Elizabeth “Flossie” Sluder, and a son, Irvin Dale Luther. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Kay Luther of Asheville; three sons, Homer Lewis Luther and his wife, Peggy, of Fairview, Charles Allen “Buddy” Luther and his wife, Jeanne, of Candler. And Frank Phillip Luther of Clyde; one brother and seven sisters. Graveside services will be 3:00pm Monday at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Rev. Billy Balcom officiating.
