Ruth Miller Nease

Mrs. Nease was born in Haywood, County, was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. W.D. Miller, and was married to the late Burl C. Nease. She was a member of Zephyr Hills Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Sue and Gerald Ward of Greensboro and Donna and Cleve Honeycutt of Weaverville; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Janice Nease of Asheville; one sister, Hazel Davis of Asheville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Gasperson officiating. Burial will be at Ashelawn Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Gary Davis, Keith Davis, Marshall Tomkins, Sammy Ray, Greg Burnette, and Toby Anderson.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Monday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the son’s home, 97 Morris Street.
