Sharon Jannette Wolfrey, 76, of Asheville, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at the CarePartners Solace Center.
Born August 9, 1947 in Buncombe Co., Sharon is a daughter of the late Dale and Mildred Brock Eplee.
Surviving is her husband of 57 years, William Thomas “Bill” Wolfrey; daughter, Tracy Miller (Isaac); sons, Tommy Wolfrey (Michelle) and Ronald “Ronnie” Wolfrey; grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, TJ, Jacob, and Paris (Josh); and great-grandchildren, Maximus and Riley.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Baptist Food Pantry, PO Box 448, Leicester, NC 28748.
