Shelley Lorraine Swan Frisella

Shelley Lorraine Swan Frisella, 65, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

A native of Dexter, ME, Shelley was a daughter of William Swan and the late Helen Wing Swan. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Swan.

Shelley loved to travel, especially to Disney with the kids. Her favorite hobby was spending time with and talking to her family. She was always there for all of them when they needed her.

Mrs. Frisella is survived by her husband, Jim Frisella; children, Tasha Jones (Christopher), Jimmy Frisella, Jr. (Melissa), and Matthew Frisella (Emmy); her beloved grandchildren, Isabella, Adelynn and Daisy Jones, Gabriella Frisella, and Liam, Mason, and Amelia Frisella; siblings, Susan Hodges, Doris Pittman, Helene Powell, Pauline Harris, Tim Swan, and Glen Swan; and a large number of nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. A livestream of the service will be broadcast on this page. Burial will then take place at Green Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
