Shirley Ina Williams

Shirley Ina Williams, 80, of Hendersonville, died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Glenn and Gladys Wheeler DeWeese. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Williams Pott. She is survived by her son, Michael Williams and his wife, Debbie of Arden; one sister, Betty Bryant of Weaverville as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family asks that dress be casual. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that you make a memorial contribution in Shirley's memory to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
