  1. So sorry to hear this news. Shirley was in Christian Womens Club with me. She was such a delightful lady. She will be missed.

  2. My Mama had a long and happy life, I will miss her very much. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Mama always came and stayed with me when I had each of my 3 girls. The whole family will miss her very much.

  3. Shirley was one of our “sisters” in our women’s group. She will be missed. She was marked for Christ. ✝️

  4. Shirley was such a great inspiration and influence to so many people. I will miss her terribly but rejoicing in her reunion with Ernie.

  5. ‘Surely the presence of the Lord was in the space’ when Shirley was present. A wonderful church member, prayer support and charades player!

  6. Shirley was an inspiration to me in so many ways. Her faith in God. Her love for and devotion for her family. Her love and devotion to her friends and her church. Her desire to live life with joy and love and laughter. Shirley was loving and loved. Rest in peace, Shirley. I love you.

  7. My grandmother was the most loving, generous and happy person. She will be missed greatly. I am so glad to have such precious memories of you Mom. I miss you, but am glad you are with Poppy again.

  10. Aunt Shirley was so precious to me and a big influence on my life and my faith. I now find comfort in that faith knowing I will be with her again. I lift up my sweet cousins in prayer as they mourn and I am always here for each of you.

  11. To my cousins April and Leslie and their progeny I offer my condolences on the passing of my wondefull Aunt Shirley.
I have great memories of the family gatherings at the lake.
    Rest in peace

  12. My grandmother was my second mother. I don’t remember a time where she was not there when I needed her. As much as it hurts, I know she is where she she wants to be. Her and my grandfather are together now watching over our family saying “look what we started”.

  13. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Shirley’s family and dear friends. Shirley has been a devoted member of Groce United Methodist Church and was very involved in many different ways for many years. Gary and I have known Shirley for many years and she was a wonderful woman inside and out. She was always very outgoing, friendly and had a big smile on her face. I got to know her alot better through various committees, etc. She will be deeply missed by all of us at Groce and throughout the community. She lived a full life , enjoyed doing alot of things and keeping active. She was such a sweet and caring, kind , generous lady . She will always hold a very special place in our hearts. RIP sweet Shirley.

  14. We have great memories of laughter with Shirley. Such a wonderful woman. Heaven has gained another angel.

  15. I came to know Shirley when she volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. She was always a delight to talk to and work beside. I know that she is dancing in heaven and having the best time yet. My sincere condolences to the entire family and her many friends.
