  14. Dear Mr. Brown and family ~
My name is Patty and I am your newspaper carrier. I was truly saddened to learn of Shirley’s passing. When I pulled up to the house to toss the paper I saw the flowers in your carport and my heart took a leap. There’s a handful of my customers that I’ve had contact with, and Shirley was one of them. We had several long, enjoyable telephone convesations. I’ll always remember the story she told me about her pet skunks!

To you and your family I send my most heartfelt sympathies.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Patty Parris
