Guestbook

  1. What a sweet and wonderful lady you were Mrs. Conger…the world has lost a jewel but Heaven has gained an Angel…thank you for your love and kindness, your compassionate heart and your beautiful smile…you are missed Dear One.

  2. Shirley was a wonderful lady, one of a kind! I loved her spirit and her professionalism when she worked at Owen . I recently visited with her and we both had a few laughs reminiscing about times at Owen High School. My condolences to the family, you will be in my prayers.

  3. I knew Shirley for most of my teaching career. She was a probably the best friend anyone…administrator, teacher, staff member, or student… could have at Owen High School and I truly believed she defined everything good about the entire school.

I helped her load her car the day she left for the last time and I knew the school would never see her like again. For all my career..there was no one..as universally as loved in that school as Shirley…and many of us….including me..are a lot better people for having had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

  4. Mrs.Conger was a wonderful lady. I truly loved and respected her. She was always kind and sweet. She made the students feel important. She is truly an angel now. God Bless her family and friends.

  5. Mrs. Conger was such a special lady! She always had a smile on her face and kind words for everyone, no matter how busy she was. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of loss. Jane and Doug Clark

  6. Mrs. Conger was such a pleasure to know. Mornings we were tardy, had appointments, or just went by to say HI she was always a joy. She was a part of almost all of us who went to Owen… Its only goodbye for a little while.. Much love and blessings to her family. Know she touched many lives and was very special to us all.

  7. My thought and prayers are with you Marcia and Terri. Your mom was a special lady and I know she will be missed.

  8. Mrs. Conger was always a smiling, welcoming face at her desk. She steadied, helped, comforted and befriended the students of Owen as much as any staff member. Rest in Peace Miss C, you’ve earned it. Steve & Renne ’72

  9. She was the sweetest person and always had a smile! I have fond memories of her during my time at Owen. She has gone to be with our Lord and I know He is smiling having her around, too.
