Asheville Butterfly TrailStaci Roland Chavez, 55, of Arden, died Monday, January 6, 2020 at Mission Hospital.
A native of Marion County, FL, she was a daughter of Judith Ezell Roland of Mills River and the late Clifford D. Roland.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 29 years, Phillip “Phil” Chavez; one daughter, Allyson McCrary (Lee) of Hendersonville; five sons, Jimmy Sullivan of Hendersonville, Robert Sullivan of Los Angeles, CA, Charlie Chavez of Arden, Christopher Chavez and Jacob Chavez, both of Hendersonville; one sister, Rita Reneé Dore of Murrietta, CA; two brothers, Basil Scott Roland of Brevard and Jimmy Roland of Mills River; grandchildren, Clifford and Ruby Chavez as well as several other grandchildren.
A service celebrating Staci’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
