Susan Renee Kanner, 55, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at her home in Asheville. Born in Monroe, Michigan, Ms. Kanner was a daughter of David Kull and the late Linda Sue Williams Kull Lance. She had worked in the banking industry for several years and also worked as a local advertising and sales agent. Susan is survived by her daughter, Emily Kanner; son, Zackary Kanner; grandsons, Noah and Jacob Kanner; sister, Catherine Holton (William); brother, Mark Lance (Ardene), and step-father, Gary Lance. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, at The Church of Jesus Christ, 50 Courtland Avenue, Asheville. Her family will receive friends immediately following the service. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
