Virgie Lee Riddle Wilson, 98, passed away at Flesher’s Fairview Healthcare Center on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Yancey County to the late Oscar and Bessie Angel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James “Wib” Wilson; two brothers, Troy Riddle and Freal Angel and two sisters, Wilma Riddle Baldwin and Chloe Riddle Wilkie.

Virgie is survived by her daughter, Sheila Wilson.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Shepherd Memorial Park.
