Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Young. She was such a sweet lady. I remember her sitting in the same section as my family in church. I will miss her. God’s comfort and blessings to the family. Mike Fisher.

  2. Grandma, I will miss you so very much. I love you and I know we will all be together again someday in heaven.

    Chad, Jennifer & Alex

  3. We express our deep sympathy to the family. Virginia was not only a devoted follower of Christ but she was a “sainted, saint” and she will be missed. We knew her to be a faithful servant of the Lord/ She loved and cared for children in our church Day Care as if they were each her very own. As long as her health permitted, she attended church each time the doors were open. She was an encourager and prayer warrior for her pastor and others. She was also a precious friend to our family. We will continue to pray for you, family, as you “‘journey through” this time of sorrow. But we rejoice with Virginia who is now in the presence of the Savior she loved and served so faithfully.
Ellen P. Johnson (e.j.) and the James H. Johnson Family

  4. So sorry to hear of Virginia’s passing but anyone who knew here knows she is in a better place. She was always such a sweet person. I knew her from having her insured for years and from WABC for the past 14 years. Virginia was a jewel . God Bless you all.

  5. Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to your family during this most difficult time. Virginia was always such a bright ray of sunshine, and will certainly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  6. So sorry for your great loss. Ms. Young was always so thoughtful of all of us. I know she will be greatly missed by many.

  7. Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Virginia. She was the sweetest and kindest person and such a devoted Christian. May God bless your family as you accept her loss, knowing she is resting in peace with her Lord and Savior.

  8. My deepest condolences to all of the family of Virginia Young. She taught my children in the daycare at West Asheville Baptist Church many years ago. But, we were also friends as we served side by side in the church fellowship. Please know that even though it has been many years, I have sweet memories of Virginia and the smile she always wore as she greeted the children every morning. We knew they were in the best of care. She is in the presence of Jesus and that comforts all of us when we have to say goodbye here, and I pray it will comfort her family in the days ahead. Love, Priscilla Morgan

  9. Our deepest condolences to Mike,Tim, Sherry,Todd and families. Sending prayers. Love to all.

  10. I was blessed to have worked with Virginia for most of her twenty five years at the Day Care. She had such a sweet spirit and encouraged parents, children and co workers alike. We shared many times of great laughter and times of deep sadness. Virginia was a prayer warrior who offered great support. She was always glad to listen to parents EVEN if it was closing time. She was one in a million and a treasured friend. Love from the “dream team” to all the family.

  11. Blessings to all who loved Virginia, especially her family who cared so wonderfully for her. She was so lucky to have such a loving family. We were so lucky to have her as our next door neighbor. We will miss her greatly.

  12. A sweet, kind, and gentle lady who could smile and laugh very easily. A very special lady who was loved immensely by her family.
