Virginia “Ginger” McCubbin Vaughn, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Mission Hospital.

Mrs. Vaughn was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Merle and Mary Hansen Delaplane McCubbin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Anderson Vaughn.

Ginger loved life. She would say we need to find the surprise in each day we are given. She is survived by her only daughter, Heather K. Vaughn and her husband, Cris Harshman; a granddaughter, Izzy Harshman; a sister, Margaret McCubbin; a brother, Michael McCubbin and special friends, Bo and Ashley Wang and Dean and Linda Hutsell.

Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:00 am at All Souls Episcopal Church in Asheville. A private burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
