Walter Hilmar Steiner

Walter Hilmar Rudolph Steiner, 75, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. Walter was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Walter Fritz Steiner and Charlotte Hagenstein Steiner. He was also preceded in death by his son, Mark Ralph Steiner; a sister, Rita Woch and a brother Kurt Steiner. Walter was a member of Living Savior Lutheran Church in Arden. He was an entrepreneur in business working in sales of hunting/fishing equipment, owning a deli shop and fixing up houses for rentals. He was a volunteer fireman, a DJ, and was mayor of a town in Pelican, WI. He loved to travel and was also a civil war buff. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary Steiner; daughter, Lynn Charlotte Steiner; sister, Kathe Taylor; brothers, Werner Steiner and Leroy Horst; his grandchild, Brittany "Little Darling" Crystal Hensley; great grandchildren, Landon Gabriel Hensley and Bella Lynn Ramirez-Hensley; his best friends Larry and Jo Sgro and his beloved spoiled princess dog, Schatzi. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Living Savior Lutheran Church in Arden with Pastor Caleb Kurbis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
