Oh the stories I could tell! Donnie Ball has been a part of my life for 40 years. From church on Sundays to countless days and nights on the softball fields…he was like a second father to me. I will cherish those memories now and rejoice that he has been healed and welcomed into Heaven by his sweet Martha.
My love and prayers go out to the entire family at this most difficult time.
Scott, we all have amazing stories of our time with Donnie, Martha and kids. We were one large family. It was some of Deb and I happiest times. Donnie was a great friend, deacon and teammate. I am sorry that due to being out of the country we could not see Donnie prior to his passing. Deb and I have kept the family in our thoughts and prayers. Brian and Debbie Shetley

So sorry to hear of the passing of my brother in Christ and former softball teammate. God bless and comfort the family.
Daddy,
Words cannot express how much I miss you! This past month has been so hard, and it seems impossible to put one foot in front of the other. I keep finding myself calling you to ask if you saw a certain play with our TarHeels or with football. You, daddy, were my hero. You made the sacrifice to save me when I was little and for that, I will always be thankful. Everyone knows that I was such a daddy’s girl, and I will always be a daddy’s girl! I love you daddy! Give momma a kiss for me and nanna! And until I see you again, know that I will always be thinking of you and missing you! I LOVE YOU DADDY!!
Pawpaw,
This past month has been the hardest since nana left. I’m filled with regret, pain, and emptiness. I still don’t think I have processed you leaving. You and nana are my hero’s and will always be. Please continue to send me signs that you and nana are fine. I smell y’all every now and again. I love you and miss you pawpaw.

Found our texts you didn’t say much cause you didn’t figure out texting 😂 but I still tried. I want you back Papwa I want nanna back. I wish I had more time with you both. I just don’t understand. Please continue to send me signs I want to smell white shoulders or maybe a red bird something to know y’all both are at peace.
