William "Bill" Harrison Wyatt

William H. “Bill” Wyatt, 82, of Fletcher, died Friday, October 12, 2018 at Universal Health Care, Fletcher. Born in Smyth,VA, he was the husband of Mary Ann (Wright ) Wyatt, to whom he was married 20 years. He was the son of the late Luther Gratton and Margaret Louise (Crigger) Wyatt. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Wyatt, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. Bill was a loyal NASCAR fan and a US Army veteran. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Diana Messer of Candler, Dennis Miles of Charlotte, and Carol Keeler of Somerset, KY; a brother, James Curtis Wyatt of Gettysburg, PA; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs Aero and Prince. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
