Dear Betty & family:
It’s hard to believe that Winfred is no longer part of this community. His love for Enka sports & his grandchildren stand out in my mind. He was so proud of Heath, Adam, Cole & Katie thru the years. Winfred always had a big smile on his face & a hand extended out for a shake or a warm hug. To his granchildren he leaves a wonderful legacy. Lindsey has fond memories of spending time with him at the Friday night car shows. We are truly sorry for your loss but at the same time celebrate the fact that he is wheelchair free now and with his Lord. May the Lord sustain you and your family in the days ahead. His wonderful peace will see you thru. Time changes a lot of things but always remember true friendships always remain. We are thinking of you and praying for you. Love,
Ronnie, Susan & Lindsey
Dear Betty, Larry, Kathy & family,
We are truly sadden to hear of Winfred’s passing. He was always such a joy to see and never forgot a face. People like him are hard to come by and he will be greatly missed within the Enka community. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Dear Betty, Larry, Kathy, and grandkids,
We are so sorry to hear of papaw’s passing, but we celebrate the fact that he has gone home to be with our Lord. No more pain! We shall miss his ready smile and outstretched hand. We grieve alongside of you for Jenna’s substitute papaw. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We love you.

I have worked for Ingles for the past 40 years and knew Winfred when he worked in the stores. He was a wonderful caring friend. When I think of him I can see his warm smile. My husband, Don, worked for Ingles and knew Winfred for at least 28 years with fond memories. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family. God Bless
