I am so sorry that Joan has passed away, but if she knew the Lord then she has gone to a better place than we are in now. I am Joans first cousin due to her dad and my mom were brother and sister. We will be praying for her family that the Lord will comfort and help them as they going thru this time of their loss. We love all of you and if you need please do not hesitate to call us. I noticed in the paper that it was a private service, but if I had been able I would have loved to have come, but I am confined to the house with major Asthma and Sinus problems, so I can’t get there. If any of you has the Lord as your personal savior and if Joan was a Christian then all of you will meet in Heaven someday and it might be long off.

My thoughts and prayers are with you since the death of your mom. I am her first cousin and remember her more from our younger days, since I have lived out of state for decades. May God bless and keep you and your families and comfort you during this time. Sincerely,
We are so sorry to hear this news about Joan. She was one of the best teachers at Blanton’s. We thought so much of her and she was a beautiful lady. We send our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
