  7. I am so sorry Donna,Charlie,And Cody. Its so hard to lose your father. The last time I saw Charles, he came in with Cody at the store and we talked and had such a good time. Another story I will never forget…. The last guitar I bought was from your daddy at Alans. It was a beautiful blonde Ibenez acoustic, with pearl inlay. Victor thought I already had enough guitars. So I saw Uncle Charles and asked me if he would help me. He grinned and came right over although it wasnt his usual department. Victor knew right away he was outnumbered. Go Charles! I looked at him and I said you know Ive always loved you!! He laughed and turned a little red and just smiled. Every time I play that guitar I think of your Daddy. Always will. I love you all…xoxoxoxoxo Pam

  12. Charles I have know since early grade school. We grew up together and have been friends for many years. The past few years several of us have tried to meet in Canton for a get together. 14. Charlie, Donna & Cody, Charles Alfred was a classmate with whom I graduated in 1960. He was always kind and respectful, as a teen and as an adult. I will treasure the times we visited during gatherings of our classmates over the years. I have been told how caring you and your families have been to your father especially during his illness. God bless you all throughout this time of grief, and please lean on Him for comfort and peace.

  15. I first met Charles at my husband’s, Ricky Briggs, 45th high school class reunion in 2005. We spent time talking and I had the honor of becoming acquainted with him. Since that time, we have had many phone conversations and stayed in touch.

I have grieved with you through his illness. Charles was very special to me and I will hold memories of him in my heart forever.

  16. My deep condolences goes out to the Smith family. The scripture at Rev 21:4 always helps to cheer me up and there it says that he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Jehovah promises this in the coming new world a paradise where there will be no more sickness, pain or death

  17. Hello Charlie,

We are so saddened by the death of your Dad. He meant so much to Mike and me. You can always know that he was so proud of you and loved you dearly. He and your Mom were without a doubt the most caring parents we’ve ever known. The last time I talked to him, it was about you.
Donna and Charlie, we really haven’t known you for very long but we know how much you must also be grieving. Charlie ,we thank you and your wife for your care of our Charlie. Shirley would be proud of your care for Cody. Our prayers are with you. Mike and Pam Hill
