James Lewis "Jim" McGlamery, 53, of Moody Ave., Candler, died Sunday, September 30, 2012, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Edward Lee McGlamery, Sr. and Jenia Case McGlamery. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Millie McGlamery Bell. Jim was a route salesman with a magazine company, and most recently was employed at Emerald Ridge Health Care Center. He is survived by his wife, Lissa Forrest McGlamery; daughters Jamie Baumgarner (Amos), and Christy Silvagni (Buddy); granddaughter and his "sweet potato pumpkin pie" Kylee; his beloved babies China, Asia, and Frank; sisters Mary Ann Conrad (Mike) and Jean Roberts (Toby); brother Ed McGlamery (Sharon); nieces and nephews Jon, Sam, David, Casey, Jenny, and Chad; also survived by too many good friends to include in this list. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tommy Bridges officiating. His family will receive friends following the service. The family expresses love and sincere appreciation to the staff of CarePartners Hospice, especially Chaplain Cindy Coleman, and all the weekend nursing staff, especially Pat and Shelly. Also many thanks to Jennifer Combs and the staff at Emerald Ridge Nursing Home for their love and support.   8. First thank you to the family that took the time to let me know that Jim was no longer with us. He came into my store (quiznos) at least 3 times a week and always put a smile on our faces. We will miss him greatly.
