Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Tears of joy for Adrian’s arrival into his eternal home. We will miss him. My fondest memories of Adrian were always centered around AJ’s annual school picnics in Mills River. At the last such function Adrian, Joan & I ‘manned the grill’ – we were quite a crew and it is one of many memories I will treasure.

  2. Gene and I pass along our sincerest condolences to all the family. Mr. Vannice obviously leaves behind a legacy of deep faith and strong values, gifts that are immortal. We will have all the family in our prayers.

  3. A loving and giving person, Adrian was a man who lived a full and wonderful life and will be missed by all who know him.

  4. Our sympathy to you and your family, we always looked forward to our visits at reunion time. Take care, Agnes

  5. Our sympathy to you and your family, we always looked forward to our visits at reunion time. Take care, Agnes

  6. Lodell was a ‘power machine.’ He had a name that no one knew how to pronounce, so Adrian became his handle in his corporate world. Fond memories include his writing letters to an 11 year old sister-in-law while he was in the Air Force, watching him pull a 28 foot house trailer with their 1950 Plymouth as he and Joan moved from one air force base to another, and later, driving us around the Smokey Mountains when this sister-in-law and hubby would chum up with he and Joan in the fall for many years. We rejoice that he is now with our Lord, and we release him now, with thanks for the memories.

  7. Dear Joanne,

  8. Dear JOAN & FAMILY,

My sincere condolences on the loss of Adrian. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jack and I enjoyed our meals and cocktail hours with he and Joan and the many stories with which he entertained us. My memories include all the times he helped me out after I was widowed. Especially the times he climbed over the balcony to get into my unit when I was locked out. My prayers are with you and your family at this time. Pat

  9. Dear Joan and family, My prayers are with all of you during this sad time. I know you will miss his smile and cheerful personality. Sincerely, Jeanie Myer Roberts
