  18. Deb, may your heart and soul find peace and comfort. Ellen was always a very lively, friendly and supportive in SilverSneakers classes and as a Member at Gold’s Gym. She has touched all our hearts at every class and social she attended, we will miss her greatly. One day I came to teach class and I had a bandage on my arm due to a burn. Ellen approached me after class and asked me if I had any Aloe to put on it and of course I said no. She was so precious and invited me to her home to give me an Aloe Plant; I was amazed and stunned to see the many Aloe plants. I will cherish all the memories of Ellen and the beautiful plant she shared with me. Today at the end of our SilverSneakers class, we honored Ellen by reading “The 40 Amazing Uses for Aloe Vera!” We all will miss her beautiful spirit and smiles.

    Ellen’s Friend & SilverSneakers Instructor

  19. Deborah, Christian and Jim, as the day we laid our beloved Ellen to rest approaches end, my heart is overflowing with both joy and sadness. Joy for the love surrounding our family today and knowing that Ellen is with God, and sadness for our loss. I was so moved by the outpouring of those who came to support our family and pay honor to Ellen. I am grateful for each gesture made on her behalf and extend my appreciation to all. That which comforts me most is that I think that the best part of me is Stacey, and the best part of Ellen is you, Deborah, thus she lives . The ceremony was beautiful. I know Ellen was proud. The bagpipes and ‘Amazing Grace’ were particularly poignant there among those members of the Edwards clan who have passed. Love and peace to all the family. Uncle Burl and Aunt Elaine
